you need white marzipan and food coloring. Id use gel colors as they are more vibrant and wont cause the marzipan to loose its structure.
You must color all the marzipan you need in one hit, if not, and you try to recolor is unlikely you will get the same shade again.
Initially start with the bodies and make the general shape of the bird in that color. try to get the shape as good as you can initially. then make all the other elements you need. Beaks, wings and eyes. You can make the eyes out of black colored marzipan. Buy special black color to get the black as dark as you can. if you pop this ball onto a cocktail stick and pass through the steam of a kettle it should become shiny.
Once you have all the elements you can assemble the birds and voila.
There are a number of modelling tutorials online that will help you to get the finer details sorted, but you should be able to create a good representation of an angry bird from this.
